Better managing the energy consumption of public buildings is the main objective of the pilot project entrusted to SERFIM T.I.C. by the City of Paris.
Temperature sensors have been installed in classrooms and meters have been placed on the facilities' fluid utility meters (water, gas, electricity). Transmitted via a LoRaWAN low-power network, this data is aggregated on a software platform configured to display real-time readings and indicate any consumption anomalies.
This system delivers significant benefits:
– In terms of energy savings, thanks to consumption monitoring
– In terms of time, through remote meter reading, and safety, thanks to leak alerts which also help preserve water resources.
– Mechanically promotes the optimization of resource consumption (energy and water) and the reduction of energy bills.
