Missions

  • Coordinates teams and carries out preventive and corrective work, as well as installation and renovation work on electrical networks (street lighting or traffic lights) and above-ground structures (lampposts, lanterns, light supports, etc.). in compliance with company safety rules.

Carries out and arranges for the carrying out of the electrical work usual to his trade:

-Organizes the worksite and ensures that his teams have all the equipment and documents required for successful completion.

-Carries out a prevention review in the field and implements the solutions required to ensure the safety and quality of work on the site.

-Report any malfunctions or incidents encountered.

-Replacement of lamps, circuit boards, drivers and electronic equipment

-Installation and connection of EP* and SLT* supports,

-Installation and connection of SLT* brackets, EP* and SLT* cabinets

-LV connection RMBT* / Cabinets / Enclosures

Low-voltage cabinet consignment

Low-voltage cable insulation* measurements

-Carry out functional tests and trials

-Locate the cause of a power failure and identify repair solutions

-Carry out work requiring authorization (from B1V to B2V)

-Operate machinery requiring authorization (CACES Nacelle R 483)

-Install a lighting or enhancement system for public spaces and buildings

If authorized for HV work, carries out HV work:

-Replacement of 20kVa EP feeder cell

-HV* LV* transformer replacement in EP substation

-HV substation consignment

-Maneuvering HTA cells

-HV cable insulation measurement

HTA* fault-finding in EP

Special features of the position :

The activity is carried out on public road network installation sites, and therefore outdoors.

It is subject to on-call duty.

As part of the work, teams of electricians may be called upon to provide assistance to other trades (digger, HGV driver, etc.) and may occasionally carry out short earthmoving and handling tasks.


Profile required

Electrical risk clearance is required, as is CACES 1B/3B, subject to valid medical fitness.

Teamwork and management skills.
