Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the site manager, you will help carry out civil engineering projects.
 

Your Responsibilities


 

managing a construction crew

  • manage a construction crew consisting of excavators and laborers
  • supervise the work using the construction file provided by the construction management team

Earthwork and Lifting Operations:

  • Operate and use machinery (mini-excavators, etc.) in accordance with your CACES certification.
  • Open and prepare the excavation sites in accordance with safety regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Participate in manual labor in the vicinity of the structures.

Equipment Maintenance and Monitoring:

  • Check the condition of the vehicle (fluid levels, lights, tires, etc.) and make sure it is clean.
  • Perform routine maintenance (fuel, tire pressure, etc.).
  • Follow the maintenance schedule and report any issues
     

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Apply health, safety, and environmental rules in accordance with company guidelines
  • Enforce and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines among his team
  • be proactive in the prevention process 

Candidate Profile

You have significant experience in a similar position, particularly in operating and using construction equipment such as mini-excavators, and you hold CACES Category A and B1 certifications .

A Class B driver's license is required, and a Class C or CE license would be a real asset.


 You are thorough and attentive to health, safety, and environmental regulations, and you always ensure that work is carried out properly and that equipment is maintained. You are also observant, have a strong sense of teamwork, and truly enjoy working as part of a team.
